Gage County renews child-support enforcement contract with Kravick Marstead Law

The Gage County Board of Supervisors approved Wednesday a new contract with Kravick Marstead Law to provide child support enforcement services for a term beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.
Laura Marstead, who identified herself and provided the office address for the record, told the board her firm has handled child support for Gage County since February 2004 and currently manages over 1,000 active open cases in the county. Supervisors praised the firm’s performance; one supervisor noted that, after reviewing credits and fees, the county receives a strong return for the contract dollars.
Supervisor Dorn moved to approve the contract; Supervisor Jurgens seconded. The motion carried with a 6-0 vote.
Board members did not amend the agreement during the public meeting. County staff and the contractor will proceed with the administrative signatures and contract execution for the July 1 start date.
