Jacqueline Foster, director of the Brazos County Expo and Brazos Valley Fair, told the Commissioners Court she seeks to delete one manager position and create an assistant manager slot with a slightly lower pay group and step. Foster said the positions perform similar duties and the reclassification will better align the complex’s organizational structure while producing net savings of roughly $12,000. Foster said the change will not reduce capacity or services and was intended to make internal reporting and supervision flow better. Commissioners had no substantive questions in the recorded discussion and the change was presented as a personnel reclassification for budget consideration.
