Staff reports River North and Godfrey Drive developments moving to permitting and construction

City planning staff reported progress on multiple housing developments in Waupaca during the meeting’s reports section. Juliana said the city issued the first four permits for the River North single-family subdivision and expected two more permits to be issued shortly; she said construction was breaking ground this week for that portion. For the Godfrey Drive multifamily project, Juliana said staff are reviewing the first four permit applications for multi‑family buildings and that the developer hopes to break ground on the first two buildings within a couple of weeks.
