The Lycoming County commissioners voted to approve multiple procurement and maintenance items during the meeting, including an amendment to the county’s Marco copier contract, server upgrades, a camera replacement, a fire‑coating repair contract award and the approval of professional invoices.
County staff said the Marco contract amendment will add four copiers and increase quarterly costs by $861.75 (an aggregate increase reflected as $5,265.69 in the meeting text); staff also said the county’s new Marco RFP produced lower per‑page costs for color and black‑and‑white printing compared with the old contract.
The board approved purchase of two Dell servers for RMS at a combined cost of $25,381.02; staff said the servers and associated software license are budgeted because existing hardware and software are no longer supported. Commissioners also approved replacement of the MDJ Fry building’s camera system at $11,914.50, to be funded from a $100,000 camera project allocation; staff said the former system failed and the site currently had limited security coverage.
Procurement actions included awarding the fire‑restrictive coating repair to Acoustical Spray Insulators for $35,833 and approving invoices to Larson, Kellett & Associates in the amount of $42,508.05 for services in 2024 in the district attorney’s office. All items were approved by voice vote as budgeted or properly bid. Staff noted some quoted software licensing costs may be reduced after further negotiation with the vendor representative.
