The application was presented by store manager Inga Nurbutis, who said the shop recently moved from 38 South Garfield to 50 South Washington and is requesting the window sign for the new location. “We just recently moved from 38 South Garfield to 50 South Washington,” Nurbutis said.
Staff and commissioners offered brief favorable comments on the design and fit with the downtown environment. A staff member, Laura, described the sign as “very classy and understated,” and commissioners noted approval for a business relocating within the village. There were no substantive objections or requested revisions recorded during the public discussion.
The formal vote was called by the clerk. Commissioners Harlow, Kirillenberger, Jablonski, Cernovich, Moore and Chairman Cashman recorded “aye.” The record shows the commission approved the permit as submitted.
