Board approves purchase of two maintenance trucks and a student SUV

The trucks will be outfitted with utility boxes and Tommy gate lifts; one truck will be equipped with a Western snow plow. The district said it already has the plow and needs to purchase the wiring harness and mount within the operating budget.
A motion to approve the bid results was made and carried by voice vote. Staff estimated delivery times of up to 60 days for the Expedition and advised planning for up to 90 days to receive vehicles.
