Kelly Lawrence reported program figures: community inclusion had 87 participants with 1,279 authorized hours and 961 hours filled; supported employment had 105 participants with 1,396 authorized hours and 922 hours filled. County staff reported 64 clients currently working and 70 clients holding jobs; gross wages for June 2025 were $46,630.18 and fiscal-year-to-date gross wages (July 2024'June 2025) were $538,377.21. Members asked for additional, verifiable information about proposed Medicaid reductions and how to access authoritative sources rather than social media summaries. Committee members noted past experience that more frequent eligibility redeterminations could strain case-management capacity and prompt gaps in coverage. Several members urged the committee to request updates from state agency colleagues when new information is available. The committee agreed to add Medicaid-impact updates to future agendas when credible information arrives, and staff asked members to share credible sources they receive so the committee can coordinate any follow-up research or outreach.
