Staff said WISE will provide training and technical assistance to implement Washington State policy on supported employment for working-age adults with developmental disabilities. - Port Angeles School District interagency agreement: An interagency agreement (effective Sept. 1, 2025–Aug. 31, 2026) with Port Angeles School District will fund transition program services for eligible students with intellectual or developmental disabilities, focused on vocational training and supported employment opportunities. The maximum consideration is $55,200. - Department of Health amendment: The board approved amendment No. 5 to the county’s consolidated contract with the Washington State Department of Health, adding $5,000 to the recreational shellfish toxin program to cover travel to collection sites and lab sample processing.
Board discussion and approvals: Commissioners asked clarifying procurement questions and thanked staff for clarifications in summaries where procurement language was highlighted. Each item was moved, seconded and carried on recorded aye votes.
