Danville, Ky. — Boyle County Fiscal Court on Aug. 12 publicly recognized local EMS personnel for successfully resuscitating an adult patient who lost a pulse while being transported to the emergency department, and approved equipment and training purchases for Emergency Medical Services.
At the meeting the court presented challenge points and certificates to paramedics and EMTs involved in the call, and the patient, identified as David Herron, attended and addressed the court. "If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here," Herron said.
