During the meeting, Vice Chair Matthews moved to report Senate Bill 39 to the full chamber and the clerk conducted a roll-call vote.

Chair Richardson announced the outcome: "With 12 affirmative votes and no negative votes, Senate Bill 39 is favorably reported out of committee." The committee then circulated the report for signatures and asked members who wished to cosponsor the legislation to mark the report.

The clerk left the roll open until noon in the Clerk's Office for additional cosponsors. The committee took no other action on the bill during this session.
