The work is expected to be minor and can be completed with the mini-excavator already on site as part of demolition work. The committee emphasized the desire to keep tunnel interiors as dry as possible and authorized the team to proceed with the minor remediation under the demolition allowances.
No formal budget motion was recorded for this fix at the meeting; staff categorized it as “minor” and said they would price and include it under an appropriate allowance.
