MORRISTOWN, N.J. — The Morris County Board of Commissioners on June 25, 2025 approved routine board business, moved a set of resolutions including one commemorating the 75th anniversary of the start of the Korean War, and adjourned after a brief meeting in which no members of the public spoke.

The meeting opened with roll call and prayer. Director Selland and Deputy Director Shaw were present along with Commissioners Cabana, Kriekus, Myers and Smith. County Administrator Dina Leary, Assistant County Administrator Brian Murray, Assistant County Counsel Stacy Santucci and Deputy Clerk Lucinda Lynch were also in attendance.

The board voted to approve the work-session and regular meeting minutes from June 11, 2025; the clerk noted two abstentions on that vote. The board also approved one item of communications on the agenda and then opened the meeting to public comment; the clerk reported no written comments had been received in advance, and no members of the public came forward during the three-minute public comment period.

The commissioners moved and approved the resolutions on the agenda; one resolution noted by a commissioner commemorated the 75th anniversary of the start of the Korean War. The board called for and approved a motion to pay the county’s bills and then adjourned. A commissioner also offered Fourth of July greetings to the community before adjournment.

The meeting notice was posted on the county website and filed with the Morris County Clerk, and the clerk said the public was permitted to submit written comments in advance by mail or email for the record. No substantive policy debates, public testimony, or contested votes appeared on the portion of the agenda covered in the transcript.
