City branding officials said the change is intended to provide a simple, flexible mark for use on business cards, uniforms and social media and to correct public confusion about the city’s location. Kevin Keller, the city’s public relations director, told the council the proposal is a “very clean monogram look” representing “Copperas Cove, Texas.”
