The Copperas Cove City Council on Aug. 5 adopted Ordinance No. 2025‑22 ordering and establishing procedures for the City’s general election on Nov. 4, 2025. The ordinance places three council positions—positions 3, 4 and 5—on the ballot and authorizes staff to contract with Coryell and Lampasas Counties for election services.
City Secretary Lisa Wilson explained the city will again contract with the county election officials to administer the election; cost estimates and draft contracts were attached to the agenda item. Council approved the ordinance by voice vote.
