Windham said the airport will be closed for several weeks while crews complete the work. Commissioners approved the county’s share of the local match by a 5-0 vote. The county manager and the airport authority will coordinate scheduling and communications about the temporary closure to minimize operational disruption. No additional county appropriation beyond the agreed local match was approved at the meeting.
