The WRIA 9 resolution authorizes an interlocal agreement among King County and the listed jurisdictions for the Green River, Duwamish River and Central Puget Sound watersheds within the WRIA 9 planning area.
Council members said the agreements reflect Renton’s geography, which spans two watershed planning areas; no additional funding details or changes to local policy were specified during the meeting. Both resolutions were presented as read and adopted on voice votes without recorded roll-call tallies.
