The Franklin County Planning & Zoning department reported it is fully staffed and training new employees, and the county—s IT team reported hardware needed for a server repair has arrived and is being installed.
A Planning & Zoning staff member announced, "As of yesterday, we're fully staffed," and praised Rochelle and Judy for working on training. The staff member said the department had been operating with a single GIS technician during recent months but that the new hires mean "we're good to go."
County IT staff reported that replacement hardware arrived the previous Friday and that a technician was on-site installing the parts. "The hardware that we, needed to repair part, arrived on Friday, and their technician is downstairs right now installing it," an IT staff member said. "We'll have that server back up soon. Back in service."
No formal actions were taken on these reports; commissioners thanked staff and moved on to the next agenda item.
