Finance committee approves $747,308.52 in claims, including $500,000 transfer to NVH operating fund

The docket listed a $37,799.86 payment to La Porte Chrysler Inc. for leasing vehicles, a $500,000 riverboat EFT transfer to the city’s NVH operating fund, and a $209,508.66 payment to Ferguson Waterworks for materials tied to the US 20 annexation area extension. The total claims figure the committee approved was $747,308.52.

The motion to approve the claims was moved by Doctor Cora, seconded by Mister Beatry, and carried by voice vote. The staff member called for the vote, saying, “All those in favor, say aye.” There were no recorded nay votes or abstentions.
