MOLST training modules near completion; EMS slide deck to include quiz

Members of the MOLST Advisory Council said training materials for providers, EMS, and consumers are ready to move into production following internal review. Barbara Cass, senior adviser to the commissioner of the Department of Public Health for long-term care, said the council has finalized consumer overview content and the eligible-provider training.
"The EMS training, slide deck is also done ... there is a quiz," Cass said, summarizing decisions about the EMS module. Cass and other presenters said the training will include short narrated segments and that the council will schedule brief calls for participants to provide narration.
A staff member involved in production said slide content and any statutory references are undergoing legal review before being uploaded to the department's training platform. "I've been doing a little testing on the platform that we use to upload it into train. It's called, Articulate. So I recorded some test videos and tried to see how we'd paste the videos in, and so far, all is running pretty smoothly," the staff member said.
Council members discussed logistics: assigned narration roles, circulation of the final EMS module to the training subcommittee, and a short live session to record narration. Some presenters noted that they had assigned slides and asked colleagues to swap if needed.
No formal vote occurred; staff will proceed with internal legal clearance of slides and scheduling narration and production once the slides are approved.
