Finance Director Lacey King told the council Venezia Italian LLC has purchased Joe’s Italian Kitchen and that the state alcohol agency had issued the state license. The applicant applied for an by‑the‑drink license and a Sunday license and paid the $750 fee; King said if approved the city license would expire July 31, 2026 in line with other licenses approved in July.
The council approved the application by voice vote. No objections or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes; the city did not discuss any pending enforcement or compliance issues related to this applicant at the meeting.
