The contractor proposed solar‑powered round attic vents to supplement ridge vents and improve attic ventilation in multiple separated attic spaces; staff said some attics are separated by firewall and require individual venting. The selected shingle product was described in the packet as a long‑warranty residential/commercial product (vendor described it as a 50‑year shingle qualified by the manufacturer for the installation).
Staff estimated a construction start after contract signatures and receipt/clearance of a down payment (staff said vendors indicated checks clear timing can affect schedule).
