Saint Louis Park City Council on Tuesday approved an on‑sale wine liquor license and an on‑sale 3.2 malt liquor license for TMS Bravo LLC, doing business as Westside Wine Bar and Cheese Market, at 8020 Minnetonka Boulevard. The council opened and closed a public hearing on the application after no members of the public signed up to speak and then voted to approve the license by voice vote.
The deputy city clerk, Amanda Scott Laerdal, presented the application and described the proposed premises as about 786 square feet with indoor seating for 26 and said the owner, Tom Schoenberger, will serve as the on‑site manager. "The police department has run a full background investigation, and nothing was discovered that would warrant denial of the license," Scott Laerdal told the council. She also confirmed the application met zoning and building requirements.
Council members asked no substantive questions during the hearing. After the hearing closed, a council member moved approval and a second was provided; the item was adopted by voice vote.
The new license adds on‑site alcohol service to an existing market operation at the address; the applicant holds a separate off‑sale intoxicating liquor license for an adjacent business at 8016 Minnetonka Boulevard. The council took no further action and did not attach conditions or restrictions beyond standard licensing requirements.
