Committee members asked about funding sources; staff clarified the project is funded from fifth-penny sales tax overage funds from the 2019–2022 period, which included multiple allocations for roads and other public-works improvements. A committee member commented that the issue highlights the lifespan trade-offs of tent-type structures in Wyoming’s climate.
There was no public comment. A committee member moved and seconded the bid award and the committee voted by voice to forward a recommendation to award the contract to the full council on Monday.
