Planning staff said the site is zoned RSS, small-lot single-family residential, and that "the proposed final plat meets the subdivision and zoning requirements," and that the comprehensive plan recommends low-density uses at this location. The presentation showed the section identified on the Park Valley map as Section 3, east of Western Avenue and south of 20th Avenue.
Commissioners heard the staff findings, and a motion to accept the findings and approve the final plat was made and seconded. The commission recorded a 5-0 vote in favor of the motion.
The approval concludes the city-level plat review for this section. Staff said Section 2 of Park Valley remains under construction while public improvements are finalized and will return to the commission separately when ready. No additional conditions were included in the recorded motion.
The commission moved on to other business after the vote.
