He said the acquisition would include the area in front of the Winfield entrance on Gilead Road and portions along Winfield Creek Parkway. A motion listing four parcel identifiers passed unanimously. The parcels specified in the motion were 009‑203‑01, 009‑201‑28, 009‑201‑33 and 009‑203‑02 (as read in the meeting). Staff said the resolution authorizes the town to pursue acquisition by eminent domain if necessary to secure the right‑of‑way for the Gilead Road West project. No public comment opposing the action was recorded during the item; the motion carried unanimously.
