Commission staff said Clark Dietz previously produced 90% design documents and the amendment will carry the project through final design, bidding and construction oversight. Staff reported the packet lists a total contract amendment of $140,800 and provides a breakdown showing final engineering and bidding line items; the packet allocates the majority of the amendment to construction observation and management.
A commissioner moved to approve the amendment and a second was recorded; the motion passed on a voice vote with those present saying "Aye." Staff said the amendment will allow the project to proceed to construction planning as funding is confirmed in the coming budget cycle.
No additional conditions or changes to scope were recorded during the public meeting. Staff will administer the amendment and coordinate construction administration and inspection as the project progresses.
