The Central Union High School District Board of Trustees on Aug. 5 approved the course list for the 2025‑26 school year, including several new course offerings and a textbook adoption.
Actions approved by voice vote included: adoption of the district course list for 2025‑26; approval of a new beginning dance course to be offered at Central Union High School in the C Building; approval of a new Cybersecurity 2 course for the 2025‑26 year at CUHS; and adoption of Ideas in Literature, Building Skills and Understanding (2023 edition) as the AP English literature textbook at both comprehensive high schools.
The superintendent recommended the items and trustees moved and seconded each approval; each motion carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition in the public transcript. The board did not separate any course or textbook items for further discussion.
