The Northfield Select Board approved the liquor license renewal for North Hill Country Club and separately approved an outside consumption permit for the club during the meeting.

The board also approved warrant 24-2524-25CF for $735,729.99 by voice vote; later the board approved warrant 0126A for $44,675.88 and received biweekly payroll approval for $113,520.63. The approvals were made by motion, second and unanimous voice vote; no individual roll-call tallies were recorded in the public record.

During discussion on the warrant, Select Board members asked questions about several invoice items, including plumbing costs at Memorial Park restrooms, repeated motor repairs, tire purchases and loan transfers. The manager and staff said they would follow up with clarifications and bring answers back to the board at a later meeting.

No objections or abstentions were recorded on the liquor license motions or the warrant approvals. The meeting record shows the votes passed by voice vote and the minutes and warrants were entered into the town record.
