Court approves election judge appointments and orders special election for Nov. 4, 2025

Commissioners noted the nominee lists were provided by the county political party chairs and the motion, as amended, clarified the document’s title to read “order of appointment of election judges and alternates.”
The court also approved Order O-10-2025 calling a special election to be held Nov. 4, 2025, to allow voters to adopt or reject proposed constitutional amendments submitted by the 89th Legislature regular session. County staff said there are 17 proposed amendments on the Nov. 4 ballot. The motion to order the election passed unanimously.
Votes on these routine administrative matters were recorded as unanimous in favor by the commissioners present.
