Staff recommended approval of the annexation, the future land-use amendment and the rezoning.
The applicant, identified in the record as Mister Griffith, addressed the board and provided a mailing address. Board Member Barnes moved to approve the annexation; Board Member Bloch seconded. The motions to annex, amend the future land-use map and rezone the property all passed by unanimous vote.
Staff noted the annexation will allow the property to connect to city sewer and that the change reduces an enclave on the city boundary. Follow-up steps will include any necessary engineering review and coordination on utility connections under city procedures.
