Committee advances House Bill 31 and House Concurrent Resolution 8

"With 12 affirmative votes and 0 negative votes, the bill passes, committee," the clerk announced, and members were asked to add their names as cosponsors if they wish and to sign the voting roll.
Later in the session the committee considered House Concurrent Resolution 8. The committee received written testimony from the NFIB and then Vice Chair Ferguson moved to favorably report the resolution. After a roll call the clerk announced, "With 8 affirmative votes and 4 negative votes, the House concurrent resolution passes committee." Members were again asked to sign the roll before leaving.
Both actions were approvals to report the measures to the full House; the committee did not adopt additional amendments on either item during the session.
