The Texas State Board of Pharmacy adopted amendments that increase several license and registration fees for pharmacies, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Board staff reviewed the proposed fee changes that had been published in the Texas Register after prior board discussions. Staff said the amend ments increase the initial pharmacy license fee to $610 and the renewal fee to $607; the initial pharmacist license fee to $399 and the renewal fee to $396; and the initial pharmacy technician registration fee to $88 with a renewal fee of $85. Staff reported no public comments were received on these specific fee amendments. A motion to adopt the fee amendments was made by Donna Montemayor and seconded by Donnie Lewis; the board voted and the motion carried. The adopted fee adjustments will be reflected in the board’s fee schedule and in the published rule orders for the relevant Texas Administrative Code sections.
