Councilor Paulson raised a reliability concern about Samsung appliances after hearing third‑party reports that certain consumer models had reliability issues, and staff clarified the televisions proposed are commercial‑grade Samsung displays specifically intended for security/operations use rather than consumer smart TVs. Staff also confirmed Speed Queen washers/dryers were requested for durability but that procurement used a local vendor for supply.
All FF&E items were approved by roll call votes (motions carried 5–1 on some line items where one councilor voted no); staff confirmed the items are covered under the project’s FF&E budget and will be purchased and installed in coordination with occupancy schedule. No additional funding requests were made for FF&E at this meeting.
