The Berkeley County Planning Commission accepted staff’s recommendation to determine final plat status for Cardinal Point Section 7 Phase 1 and scheduled a public hearing for consideration of final-plat approval on Sept. 2, 2025. Staff summary: The final plat proposes 40 villa lots on 12.56 acres in the Cardinal Point development; the developer is Panhandle Homes and Fox and Associates prepared engineering. County engineer Doug Smith determined the project compliant with the subdivision ordinance on July 17, 2025, and staff recommended proceeding to advertise a public hearing for final approval.
