The commission approved an application from Edwin Creighton to add a small rear porch, steps and landing at 218 Second Street. Creighton said the design was modeled on a recent renovation done at the Donahoe law office and will be finished in white trim to match the house.
"It's the steps, and it has a small little landing area," Creighton said. He showed a sketch of the proposed rear entry and said the previous deck had been removed and nothing currently exists at the site. Commissioners confirmed the work is at the back of the house and moved to approve.
Miss Robinson moved to approve the application; Mr. Donahoe seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote.
