The work is funded in part by the Ohio Public Works Commission, which the council was told will cover 49.1% of the bid (approximately $450,000); the remainder will come from city funding. Councilman Griffin moved to suspend the rules and to adopt the ordinance; Councilwoman Hager seconded both motions and the roll-call votes to suspend and to adopt carried.
