The Board of Education on July 28 approved its consent agenda, which included a personnel report, updated fiscal‑year 2026 rental labor rates, information technology disposal procedures and a list of bills payable tied to fiscal year 2025.
Why it matters: The personnel report places newly hired staff on the consent agenda for the full board; rental labor rates affect fees charged when outside groups rent district facilities; IT disposal and the FY25 bills list are routine financial and operational items requiring board acknowledgment.
Brian (staff) presented the personnel report that will be added to the consent agenda for the 7:00 p.m. board meeting; he noted a number of educational support positions were filled by current district employees moving into higher roles under the collective‑bargaining agreement. He told the board there remained a handful of ESP openings and one certified teacher vacancy the district was continuing to fill.
Facilities staff presented proposed FY26 rental labor rates — the hourly rates the district charges for staffing when outside groups rent facilities — and the board approved those rates. Administration also described the district’s IT disposal vendor, Digital Red, which the technology department uses for responsible equipment disposal and for a zero‑landfill approach.
Dan Stanley presented a list of bills that were payable after the June board meeting but fall into fiscal year 2025; those will appear on the consent agenda for the regular meeting.
Board members approved the consent agenda during roll call. The items will be reflected in district records and the personnel actions will be finalized for the start of the school year.
