The commission’s chair noted that dates for several subcommittee terms are being staggered and that subcommittees generally recommend renewals or new appointments to the commission. Commissioners said the alternate appointment is short term through June, and that the subcommittee handles reappointment recommendations.
No public hearing was required for the appointment. The commission recorded the vote as 6 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstentions.
Commissioners closed the item and welcomed Iliannis to future subcommittee activities.
