The Orland Park Village Board approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the Village of Tinley Park to install and maintain radio equipment on Orland Park Water Tower Tank No. 10, located at 8800 W. 159th St. Trustee Katsenas moved to approve the IGA and to authorize the village manager to execute the agreement upon board approval; the motion passed on roll call.
Staff presented the location and purpose in brief; trustees did not propose additional conditions during the public discussion. The board authorized the manager to execute the agreement following the usual subject-to-attorney-review process. The IGA will allow Tinley Park to install and man radio equipment on the Orland Park tower and establishes maintenance responsibilities between the two municipalities.
