The mayor issued the formal declaration: “Now, therefore, I, Elizabeth Kautz, mayor of the city of Burnsville, on behalf of the city council, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, 08/05/2025 to be night to unite in Burnsville, and do hereby call upon all citizens of Burnsville to participate in night to unite activities on August 5, proclaimed this August 2025.”

The council also announced a regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 5:30 p.m., a work session on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 5:30 p.m., and department budget presentations for the proposed budget and tax levy on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m.
