The Round Lake Area Board of Education adopted a resolution Aug. 4 establishing adult meal prices for the upcoming school year. The board set adult breakfast at $3.35 and adult lunch at $5.05 to meet state law that requires adult meal prices to be 50 cents higher than the district reimbursement rate.
Administration told the board that FY26 reimbursement rates had not yet been released; if adjustments are needed when state rates are published, administration will return to the board with recommended changes. The proposal had been reviewed by the finance committee prior to the board meeting.
The motion to adopt the resolution was moved by Mister Jones, seconded by Missus Klingler, and carried on a roll-call vote. The board authorized administration to execute associated documents.
