Village awards 2025 pavement preventative maintenance contract for crack sealing to Patriot Pavement

The Village of Hoffman Estates authorized a contract Aug. 4 with Patriot Pavement Maintenance of Wheeling to perform crack-sealing on village streets for the 2025 preventative maintenance project in an amount not to exceed $122,379. Transportation staff told committee members the project is limited to crack sealing, two bids were received, and the low bid from Patriot was close to the engineer’s estimate and well under budget. Staff said the list of streets included “fully covers” the work recommended for this year and does not recommend adding locations despite being under budget. The committee approved the contract by voice vote. Staff said Patriot has worked for the village previously and recommended approval.
