Clermont board cuts Rios household fine; payment due within 60 days

Board member Sunny (surname not provided) moved to reduce the respondent’s proposed reduced fine of $9,000 by 20 percent (a $1,800 reduction), leaving $7,200 to be paid within 60 days; the motion passed. Wallace said that if the respondent came into compliance before the next hearing staff would be open to bringing a lien reduction to city council, and that the reduced amount must be paid within the ordered 60-day period or the original fine amount would be reinstated.
The order documents that the property is in compliance at the present time and sets the reduced payment schedule required to resolve the case.
