The City and Safety Services director told the City Council that an earlier amendment had referenced the wrong ordinance and the wrong fund. “I made an error when I reviewed the ordinances that we pulled together,” the director said at committee, describing a failure to cross-reference the ordinance that placed the project against the safety-services capital levy rather than the general fund.
