Tremaine credited staff and volunteers for bringing three new businesses downtown and noted that the farmer’s market and yoga-in-the-park programs are well attended. Main Street staff and board members were introduced to the council, and the organization thanked the city for financial and logistical support.
Council members thanked Main Street and noted upcoming downtown amenities, including a pavilion that will provide shelter and additional picnic tables; staff said restrooms will be available for downtown users when events occur. Council and Main Street agreed to continue coordination of events and downtown projects.
