The Deltona City Commission on Monday approved Resolution No. 2025-99 authorizing the city manager to purchase fire equipment, supplies and services from Bennett Fire Products Company Inc. pursuant to a Lake County piggyback contract (Contract No. 2027-30B). The resolution passed unanimously, 7-0.
City staff said the procurement would be made under the city27s budget authority and that use of the Lake County contract constitutes a piggyback purchase. Vice Mayor Harriet made a motion to approve the resolution; Commissioner Lully seconded and the commission recorded a 7-0 vote in favor.
Staff will proceed with purchases in accordance with the city's budgets and the piggyback contract terms.
