Vice Mayor Harriet moved to approve with an amended motion authorizing the $30,000 expenditure; Commissioner Santiago seconded the motion and the commission approved it 7-0.
Commissioners requested the dollar amount be included in the motion for clarity; staff will coordinate with Pegus Engineering to complete the code updates. The approval authorizes the expenditure from the city27s budget and directs the consultant to prepare the proposed amendments for Planning & Development and commission review.
