The Reynoldsburg Planning and Zoning Board on June 5 approved a conditional-use application permitting a mental-health clinic to operate at 1606 Lancaster Avenue.

Staff presented application 20250238, described the site in the Old Reynoldsburg Neighborhood District (ORDN) and said the applicant met the conditional-use standards in section 11-9-13 of the zoning code. The application states the business will offer individual psychotherapy, evaluation and management and community-based case management services to people with mental-health or substance-use disorders, both in person and via telehealth, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a maximum of five employees.

The application was filed by Denise Bode for Lancaster Avenue Holdings, LLC, according to staff. Chelsea Earnhardt spoke at the podium and identified herself at 1606 Lancaster Avenue, saying, “We currently operate out of 2 other suites in the same office park and are expanding.”

A board member moved to approve the conditional use based on staff’s finding that the application meets the conditional-use standards; the motion was seconded and carried by unanimous vote. No public comment was offered on the item.

Staff and the board did not record any additional operating conditions in the meeting minutes; the approval allows the clinic to operate as described in the application under the code section cited.
