The board approved multiple routine and consent items, voting unanimously on minutes, student transfers, testing calendar, cafeteria prices and procurement of a copier for the high school special education department.
The minutes from the June 16 regular meeting and the July 9 meeting were approved with a spelling correction to a board member's name. The board then approved two student transfer applications, voting 7-0.
The board adopted the annual T-test calendar as presented; staff said the calendar transfers corresponding statutory dates from year to year.
On cafeteria pricing, staff recommended a 10-cent increase in lunch prices; staff also noted that reduced-price eligible students will receive meals at no charge this year. The board approved the change 7-0.
For equipment, the board approved awarding the lease/purchase for a copier for the high school special-education department to the lower bidder, SPC, after the district's prior lease ended. The board noted that three vendor quotes were included in the board book under the agenda item.
Other routine items approved earlier included the 2025-26 employee handbook.
