The Board of Education approved a revision to the 2025–26 meeting calendar to move the Aug. 11, 2025 meeting to Aug. 13, 2025, and to change the reorganization meeting scheduled for July 7, 2026 to July 1, 2026. Board members cited timing on tax-rate calculations and a scheduling conflict involving the superintendent.

In a resolution read into the record, the board said the information needed to calculate tax rates would not be available in time for the scheduled Monday, Aug. 11 meeting. The board also cited a scheduling conflict for the July 2026 reorganizational meeting caused by the superintendent's attendance at the AASA (American Association of School Administrators) Legislative Advocacy Conference.

The motion to revise the calendar was made by Mr. McFarlane and seconded by Ms. Kellen; the board approved the changes unanimously. No public comment was recorded on the calendar changes.

The revised dates given by the board are: move the meeting scheduled for Monday, Aug. 11, 2025 to Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, and move the reorganization meeting scheduled for July 7, 2026 to July 1, 2026.
